Remote Pharmacy Technician Specialist
CVS Pharmacy | 2020 - 2021
Taking a leave from Luxe Cleaning Co in 2020 due to Covid-19, I looked at different business ventures during this time while at home to work remotely and stay busy. Remembering I acquired my Pharmacy Technician license out of high school I applied to CVS pharmacy to become a virtual Pharmacy Technician and after a swift call-to-interview, I was remotely, manually processing medication orders for hospitals, doctors, customers, etc. Due to the pandemic, this was a non-stop job where my duties were critical and continuous from call-to-call to ensure vital medications were delivered in a timely matter while maintaining all regulatory procedures to lawfully fulfill orders with constant communication back and forth from insurance companies and doctors offices to verify proper coverage and documentation of orders. As my first job out of high school and into the working field, Walmart helped etch and blossom the diverse management and retail qualities I carry today. Within my first few months, with diligent work alongside a teachable personality, I was promoted to department manager where I continued to stand out with unparalleled performance and for the next four years, continued to elevate into larger department leadership roles with increased associates under my supervision and vendor relation experiences.
